What is glutathione & how does it lighten the skin?

We thought it was pretty important to break down what Glutathione is exactly, and how it lightens your skin naturally. So we've complied a few commonly asked questions and our answers to those questions! 

Q: What is glutathione?

A: Glutathione acts as a powerful antioxidant and cleanses the liver of chemicals, hormones and pollutants. It is the most powerful antioxidant , when there are low levels of glutathione in the body it is associated with serious disease. Glutathione is made from three amino acids: glutamate, cysteine and glycine. It is also safe and natural method to help restore uneven, sun-damaged or hyper-pigmented skin.

A: Your skin’s pigmentation (skin colour) occurs because the body produces melanin. Melanin is produced by the melanocytes in the bottom layer of the epidermis. The action as a tyrosine inhibitor results in lighter skin

A: Although results vary based on your body weight, skin tone, and genetics, and avoidance of unprotected sun exposure, you will typically see results within two to three months.


Q: Will I get that unnatural bleached look?
